Holiday Characters
Accentuate any event with your very own troupe of holiday costume characters. Rainbow Promotions offers one of the largest selections of holiday characters in the Delaware Valley. Our professional actors and actresses will mix with your guests or customers and help to put them in the holiday spirit. Santa Claus
No Christmas celebration would be complete without you're very own Santa Claus! All of our Santas are professionally trained and smartly costumed to meet up to the standards of even the most discriminating of children. They can be used to greet guests or customers; stroll throughout your setting; have souvenir photographs taken with; or pass out holiday gifts. Please note that our Santas are only available for short term rental and not for weekly or monthly periods.

Mrs. Claus
Of course we can not leave out Mrs. Claus either. She has become almost as popular as
Santa himself, lending kind words and comfort to those little ones who may be a bit scared to meet with Santa. She is the consummate helper who has all the patience in the world to add just the
right touch of holiday spirit!

Toy Soldiers On Stilts
Want to make an impression in a BIG way! Our stilt walking toy soldiers are just the thing to attract a crowd, greet customers/guests or lead a Santa Parade. Beautifully costumed and very entertaining, these stilted performers will be the hit of your season.

Poinsettia Mime
Poinsettia Mime is "Blooming For The Holidays" and offering both thirty minute stage performances as well as strolling entertainment. Celebrating the magic of the season her program contains such antics as the candy cane soft shoe and building a snowman. Wonderfully comic and full of audience interaction!




Christmas Elves
Our large troupe of Christmas elves has cooked up the very best in holiday high- jinx.
They are ideal for any holiday celebration and can add loads of fun with skills in comedy magic, slapstick, balloon sculpting and face painting. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner with Santa - this package was especially designed for retail stores, restaurants, malls, social organizations and corporations. You provide the meal and we provide the trimmings and entertainment to make this a truly memorable occasion. Who Can't Use Cash For The Holidays?
This is the latest craze for the holiday season. Guests or customers, one at a time, step into a special clear cash cube that stands 4' feet wide by 4' long by 8' tall. The player is then cheered on as they grab through a blizzard of airborne dollar bills (play money), which they must stuff as many as possible into and apron before the time runs out. These bills can then be traded in for prizes or special holiday discounts.

Kid's Club: Christmas Crafts
Our staff of arts and crafts instructors has created this special program just for the holidays. It allows everyone to have fun and walk away with his or her own special creation with little or no mess to clean up. This year's offerings are:

Constructed from craft foam, these kits contain all the pieces needed

Santa Parade
Have Santa arrive at your location in a big way - accompanied by a full troupe of some of the liveliest holiday characters. Santa will be escorted by a brass band, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frostie The Snowman, a holiday mime, two balloon sculpting clowns, Mrs. Santa and your choice of two other of our holiday characters. Santa On A Fire Truck? - A Miniature One That Is
Our miniature fire engine, also gas powered, can lead your parade with Jolly Saint Nick steering the way! This replica antique fire engine can also hold other characters, celebrities or guest riders. It can travel in almost any area and is always a big hit.

Old Time Horse & Carriage Rides
Create a bit of old world tradition this holiday season with our antique horse drawn carriages. Make your holiday event or celebration something extra special with free rides for your guests or customers. Our carriages also make for a unique way in which to bring in Santa or other special guests to kick off your holiday arrival celebrations. (Weather contingent).


A Dickens Christmas
Celebrate an old fashioned, 19th century style, Christmas, just as it was brought to life in the writings of Charles Dickens. Holiday Caricatures
These caricatures make great holiday gifts! Created by one of our many professional artists, these portraits will become the talk of any event. On average, it takes four minutes to create a drawing, which may be done in either color or black and white. For an added effect, each drawing can be personalized with a company name or special holiday message.



Your Christmas Story by Dan Hurley, 60 Second Novelist
Dan Hurley can put your life story to written word in just under one minute. For the holidays, he offers special stories recalling your family or individual holiday traditions and tales. Dan talks to each person one at a time asking simple yet direct questions. He then uses the facts as the basis for an imaginative, funny and warm story that he makes up and types instantly on his 1923 Remington typewriter. Guests get to keep their story in a paperback book jacket. Dan invented 60 second novels on the streets of Chicago and New York in 1983. Now he is one of the country's premier special event entertainers. He has been featured on "The Today Show", CNN and MSNBC, as well as in The New York Times, People, USA Today, Wired, Good Housekeeping and The Chicago SunTimes, just to name a few.


Holiday Photo Gallery
Choose between two hand painted background sets in which to have your Polaroid photograph taken - the traditional fireplace with decorated Christmas tree or Santa's sleigh in silhouette over the rooftops at night. Custom sets are also available upon request. These make for unusual holiday gifts as each photograph comes in its own cardboard frame, which may be imprinted with your company's message or greeting. This promotion is completely self-contained as everything is supplied - the photographer, cameras, & film.

Segal Puppets is a touring theatrical company that will come to your location
equipped with stage, sound system and lighting to offer these original live
holiday treats for all ages: North Pole Fun - a delightful tale about the diversity of holiday celebrations at this time of year from Christmas to Chanukah to Kwanzaa OR Bartholomew Bear's Moon Myth Adventure - a classic and favorite story about one bear's incredible adventure, but with a holiday twist.


Storyteller Ray Gray
For over twenty-one years Ray has been telling stories to audiences of all ages. Endorsed by the PA Council on the Arts and the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, his work is widely acclaimed. Revel in such original holiday tales as "The Christmas Snow Man" and others as told in a dramatic, audience capturing style that is Ray Gray. A great holiday program!!!!


The Magic of Christmas
Rainbow Promotions represents a wide variety of professional magicians that can add to any holiday celebration. Two formats are offered for your events or celebrations. The first format is a full stage show featuring live animals, a variety of illusions and loads of audience participation. Or for more intimate occasions, our magicians can stroll throughout your setting doing close-up magic or slight of hand with a variety of smaller objects. Whatever format you select, holiday themes can be incorporated into the magical routines insuring that audiences of all ages are left spellbound and filled with the wonders of the holiday season.

Juggling by Jonathan
Whether strolling throughout your location to add atmosphere, or performing a full forty-five minute stage show, Jonathan displays brilliant feats of dexterity utilizing such objects as Christmas ornaments, balls, clubs, rings and even Christmas chimes. His performance is equally loved by both children and adults and is a holiday favorite.




Stacey's Face Painting
Stacey's Face Painting has been in business for over 5 years. They perform for hundreds of private birthday parties and other events each year. They are also the exclusive vendors for the Philadelphia Zoo and Linvilla Orchards. Their artist's also enjoy working for Carnivals, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Fundraisers, Corporate Picnics and especially Holiday Events! They are always the hit of any holiday party!

Holiday Music

Starlight Carolers
These carolers bring local holiday tradition and the joy of the season to thousands of guests each year. Adorned in elegant Victorian costume this acapella group sings all the holiday favorites both traditional and popular in impeccable four part harmony. The sights and sounds of the Starlight Carolers are indeed a holiday treat!

 
Holiday Brass Bands
Return to the early 1800's and celebrate Christmas in the traditional manner with our Victorian costumed brass bands. These groups are available in a variety of sizes from trios up to seven pieces. Instrumentation can vary but primarily is a mixture of Trumpet, Tuba, Trombone and French Horn. The music selections offered vary from traditional holiday pieces to well known popular tunes. Our brass groups are ideal in creating the perfect atmosphere for any holiday event.


H.B Smith Cornet Band
For over forty-five years, this incredible costumed fifteen-piece horn band has offered holiday splendor and tradition unparallel in this region. The H.B Smith Cornet band strives to recreate the splendor of the golden age of Victorian music and offers a vast musical selection that appeals to audiences of all ages.


Belle Voix
Formally the Madrigal Singers, this group offers choral concerts for the holidays. They have created their own brand of a cappella holiday magic locally in such venues as Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, and the Delaware Art Museum. They offer a wide selection of music from traditional, classical and even more popular tunes.


Holiday Doowop Celebration
Look into some of those holiday favorites performed by the Philadelphia based acappella doo wop group called The Neighbor's Complaint. Whether a stationary concert or a holiday performance, this group recreates the music of the late 40's, all the 50's, 1960's and early 70's. Costumed in tuxedos or 50's style jackets and vests, this group offers crowd pleasing warth and great holiday sounds.

Holiday Harps
Timeless music from well known Celtic Harpist, Ellen Tepper is now available for your holiday events. Traditional holiday Celtic, Scottish, Irish Baroque, Medieval, Renaissance as well as contemporary American and improvisatory pieces can be expected to delight an audience in the course of a performance. Ellen Tepper belongs to that rare breed of musician whose effect on an audience is one of unanimous and immediate joy and wonder.


Holiday DJs and Karaoke
Our DJs play in an instant all you holiday favorites, from Bing Crosby to Mariah Carey, offering great background music for your holiday party. Or for those who want to kick up your heals on the dance floor, a full selection of music is available as well.

For an added touch, we also offer Holiday Karaoke! Professional equipment and lots of tracks to choose from make this a holiday favorite as all your guests will want to participate in a variety of sing-a-longs from traditional to pop favorites.


Mummers New Years Preview
Enjoy a sneak preview of what is to come for the New Year's celebration in Philadelphia. Imagine a fully costumed Mummer's String Band strolling throughout your setting, playing their own style of music and strutting their stuff. The popular Philadelphia attraction is sure to draw the crowds.
